She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Rouse and Nellie Rouse; and her husband Wilford Philyaw. She is survived by: her children, David Philyaw (Stacy), Linda Banks (Joel), Rose Hatcher (Doug) and Jane Davis (Bill); her brother Harvey Rouse (Sally); her grandchildren, Scott Melville, Courtney Smith, Madison Davis, Christopher Philyaw, Olivia Davis and Summer Philyaw; and her great grandchildren, Auston, Jamison, Tatum, Gracie, Whitley and Nancy.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Pollocksville Baptist Church.
