Edwin Wilson Edmondson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2025, at the age of 90, Edwin Wilson Edmondson (Pollocksville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Lee Edmondson and Anna Reason Edmondson; and his siblings, Sally Edmondson Holton, Walter Reid Edmondson and Robert Lee Edmondson.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Vine Bender Edmondson; his children, Edwin Wilson Edmondson, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Nancy Edmondson Matthews (Mark); his grandsons, Warren Mark Matthews, Jr., John Bender Matthews and Edwin Wilson Edmondson Matthews; and his sister Lynn Edmondson Tucker. He is also survived by son nieces and nephew.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pollocksville Presbyterian Church (300 Business 17, Pollocksville, NC 28573).
