He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Yancey and Mary Yancey; his brothers, Wayne and George A. "Dick" Yancey; and his sister-in-law Lena Yancey.
He is survived by: his wife Guelda Riggs Yancey; his children, Angie Bender (Joey) and Carl (Pam); his grandchildren, Carla Henries (Ricky) and Kelsey Wyatt (Rodney); his great grandchildren, Raenly Henries, Alaina Yancey and River Jones; and his siblings, Lois Hite and Harvey (Nancy). He is also survived by 6 nieces, 2 nephews and their children and grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests all attending services to wear face masks at all times.
