She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Herring and Jeanette Herring; and her husband Troy Whitley. She is survived by: her sons, Keith Whitley (Jennifer) and Tony Whitley (Angel); her grandchildren, Brooke, Josh Gomez, Landon Whitley, Kola Whitley, Nathan, Danielle Whitley, Elizabeth, Zach Stevens, Kristen and Mark Streeter; her great grandchildren, Kinley Gomez, Amelia Gomez and Asa Gomez; and her siblings, Stanley (Toni Herring), Gloria Riggsbee, Arnold (Brenda Herring) and Fannie Ross.
