He was predeceased by: his parents, King Briley and Eloise Medlin Briley; and his brother Theron "T. K." Briley. He is survived by: his sister Carolyn King (Bob) of Cumming; his sister-in-law Betty Briley of Gastonia, NC; his nephews, Todd Briley of Gastonia, NC, Kevin Briley of Gastonia, NC, Darrell King (Susan) of Cumming and Mike King (Caroline) of Marietta Ga; his great-nephews, Justin and Dylan King; and also, Carter and Holden Cook.

Memorials may be made to Brown Creek Baptist Church, 4210 NC-742, Wadesboro, NC 28170 .
