She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Brown, Sr. and Charity Marshall Brown; her husband Richard Thomas; and her siblings, Annie Brown Jackson Nelson, Rachel Brown Cardwell, Elsie Mae Brown Hoots, Henry Brown, John W. Brown, Jr., Vester "Shorty" Brown, Ruben Brown and Carl Brown (Ralph Brown).
She is survived by: her daughter Robin; her son-in-law Dietmar Stahnke; her sister Virginia Malcom; and her siblings-in-law, David Thomas, Steve Thomas and Irene Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
