He was predeceased by: his mother Myrtle Lee Jones; his siblings, Taron Jones and Ann Jones Dennis; and his son-in-law Frank J Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Singletary Jones; his children, Gary D. Jones (Carol) of Albemarle and Kay Jones Dennis of Polkton; his sister Camille J Staton (Charles) of Graham; his sister-in-law Doris J Jones of Polkton; his grandchildren, Haley Stewart, Caleb Jones, Patrick Dennis (Linda), Ashley McKinnon (Adam) and Kaitlin Groves (Sean); his great grandchildren, Carter, Sebastian, Allison, Anderson, Charlotte, Delaney, Lauryn, Olivia and Gracie; and his pet Theo.
