He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Johnson and Enola Johnson of Polkton, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Beth Johnson; his children, Chris (Patricia Johnson) of Polkton, Denise (Rodney Caudle) of Polkton and Cecelia (Reggie Bowers) of Burnsville; his stepson Robbie (Rhonda Robinson) of Salisbury; and his siblings, Bobbie Johnson of Polkton, Carol Nance of Polkton, Cathy Rushing of Polkton, Harold Johnson and Ted Johnson of Polkton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mineral Springs Baptist, 4226 Mills Road, Polkton, NC 28135.
