Cahoon (Ryan) of Fairfield; his stepgrandchildren, Daniel Bowen (Jessica) of Washington and Jenna Bowen of Bakersville; his great grandchild Carter Cahoon; his stepgreat-grandsons, Ethan and Zachary Bowen; and his sister Sallie Carter of Swan Quarter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
