She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Hooker and Annie Leggett Hooker; her husband Walter Edison "Tiddle" Knowles, Jr.; her great grandchild Ella Knowles; and her siblings, Cecil Hooker, Jr., Herbert Hooker and Annie Mabel Mixon.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Knowles (Susan) of Plymouth, NC, Karen K. Dakos (L. J.) of Chesapeake, VA and Gwyn K. Watson (Preston) of Plymouth, NC; her siblings, Tommy Hooker of Corolla, NC and Lucille Robbins of Gambrills, MD; her grandsons, Barry W. Knowles (Mandy) of Greenville, NC and Brady A. Knowles (Mary Beth) of Winterville, NC; and her great grandchildren, Jamison Knowles, Adalyn Knowles, Tanner Knowles and Tate Knowles. She is also survived by her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
