With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Lewis Peyton of Plymouth, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Henry and Barbara Matheny Peyton. He is survived by: his spouse Fay Watson; his children, Michelle McCombs (Phillip) of Garner and Trevor Spruill (Brittanie) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Rachel, Lauren McCombs, Elizabeth and James Spruill; his siblings, Tim Peyton of Plymouth, Alan Peyton (Sonja) of Moulton, AL and Dianne Peyton Swain of Plymouth; and his aunt Shelby Peyton Flint of Windsor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
