She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lionel Combs and Minnie Marie Cahoon Combs; her husband Morris McCoy Hufton, Sr.; her son Morris McCoy Hufton, Jr.; her grandson Morris McCoy Hufton, III; her son-in-law George Steel; her sister Brenda Combs Gonzales; and her stepgrandson Rodney Spruill.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Hufton Steel of Burke, VA and Thomas G. Hufton, Sr. (Gwen) of Plymouth, NC; her grandchildren, Nicholas Steel, Jessica Asby (Shay) and Thomas Hufton, Jr. (Keri); her great grandchildren, Kayden, Camryn, Sophia, Molly, Jordan and Eli; her stepgrandchildren, Debbie Mizell, Jennifer Brickhouse and Lacrisha Jones; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Albion, Rowyn, Tony and Heidi.
