He is survived by : his children, Julie Jackson Bennett (Tony) of Plymouth and J. Michael Jackson (Ellen) of Raleigh; his siblings, Ellen J. Bruno (Craig) of Greenville and Thomas G. Jackson (Kristin) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Mary Corinne Jackson Bird (Hilton), Jane L. Z. Jackson Raleigh, Alison Bennett Hardison (Josh) of Jamesville and Tyler S. Bennett (Brett) of Washington; and his great grandchild Brock L. Hardison of Jamesville.

A reception was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maitland Funeral Home (306 Latham Ave, Plymouth, NC 27962).
