It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Shelton Lee of Plymouth, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Dalton Lee and Lena Wells Lee; his wife Phyllis Lee; his stepdaughter Ginger Hendrix; and his siblings, Sandra Mizzelle, Allen Lee, Nelson Lee and Clifton Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly Williams (David) of Benson, NC, Michael Douglas Lee of Plymouth, NC and Lori Campbell-Lewis (Paul) of Clarksville, TN; his sister Joanne Lee Norris (Jerry) of Williamston, NC; and his grandchildren, Elijah Williams, Daniel Williams, Zachary Williams, Mady Lewis and Taylor Campbell.
