It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara McNair Sexton of Plymouth, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry D. McNair and Laura Bowen McNair; her husband Robert Lloyd Sexton; her daughter Deborah Waters Bland; and her sister Lois McNair Hardison.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Harry Sexton, Laura Jane Sexton Corey (Billy) and Kimberly Sexton Modlin (Mike); her brother-in-law Tommy Hardison; her grandchildren, Elliott Keith Ambrose, Madison Makenzie Ambrose (Joshua), Robert Neil Modlin (Jessica), Howard Bryant Modlin and Melissa Dare Modlin (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Masen Modlin, Maverick Modlin, Marina Allen, Colby Henderson and Olivia Henderson.
