He is survived by: his wife Patsy Byrum Barnes; and his children, Wade Barnes (Patsy) of Greenville, NC, Chris Barnes (Kimberly) of Kinston, NC, Dennis Dunlow (Chrystal) of Clayton, NC and Cindy Wooten of Greenville, NC. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olive FWB Church (5548 Long Ridge Rd, Plymouth, NC 27962). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
