It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theo Deloatch Sr. (Pleasant Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on March 28, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Deloatch and Teolia Mizzell Deloatch; his children, Reginald Hardy (Christine) of Pleasant Hill, Lois Jeannette Deloatche-Harris (Doug) of Kingsland, GA, Theo Deloatch, Jr. (Maxine) of Roanoke Rapids, Fannie Grant (Stoney) of Halifax, Arthur Mack Deloatch (Cassandra) of Richmond, Virginia, Gilbert Deloatch (Lilly Mae) of Pleasant Hill, Herbert Deloatch (Tammy) of Roanoke Rapids and Alvester Deloatch (Evelyn) of Garysburg; his sister Shirleen Starks (Norman) of Roanoke Rapids; and his aunt Ethel Darden of Bronx. He was also cherished by thirty-nine grandchildren; sixty-eight great-grandchildren; four great, great-grandchildren.
