She is survived by: her children, Teresa Ponton Bullock of Emporia, Stephanie Ponton Martin of Pleasant Hill and Raymond L. Ponton, Jr. of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Ray-Qwane Bullock of Emporia, Ty-Reke Bullock of Emporia, Donté Martin of Pleasant Hill and Trémond Ponton of Chesapeake, Virginia; her siblings, George W. White of Eden, Ella Louise of Waycross, Georgia, Emma Whitby (Robert) of Weldon, Ernestine Gay of Richmond, Leah Boone (Randolph) of Seaboard, John White of Knightdale, Eva Rogers (Ronald) of Raleigh and Nancy Ruffin (Johnny) of Dallas, Texas; and her close friends, Mildred Faison, Monica Hall, Malia Hall and Aniya Ford. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
