It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Harrison (Pleasant Hill, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brown and Verna Mae Clanton Brown; her daughters, Evelyn Harrison and Carolyn Harrison; and her grandchildren, John P. Harrison and Crystal Keene.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Paul, Kenneth Harrison and Linda Harrison of Pleasant Hill, NC; her foster daughters, Linda Strong of Staten Island, NY and Michele Johnson of Bronx, NY; her grandchild Twenty; her sisters, Ruby Watson of Rocky Mt, NC, Fannie Kee (Lewis) of Jackson, NC, Minnie Moody of Pleasant Hill, NC, Brenda Brown of Charlotte, NC and Iris Jerman (Wilkins) of Bronx, NY; her niece Patricia Ann Jones of Maryland; her brother Melvin D. Brown; and her close friend Bishop Curtis C Ransom. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives church family and many friends.
