She is survived by: her husband Jim Cox; her children, Terri McNair (Larry) of Shallotte, NC, Anthony Hewett (Mary Rose) of Wilmington, NC, Billy Hewett of Shallotte, NC and Jamie Stanley (Kim) of Wilmington, NC; her stepsons, Daryl Cox (Ellen) of New York, Dan Cox of Richmond, VA and Brian Cox of Richmond, VA; and her siblings, Jewell Smith of Shallotte, NC and Richard Gray (Judy) of Shallotte, NC.. She is also survived by great grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
