He is survived by: his wife Ruby Shoffner Kirkman; his daughter Sharon Kirkman Hill (Russell); his grandchildren, Kaila Hill Riggins (Cole), Ethan Hill and Rachel Hill; his son Alan Wayne Kirkman (Myra Cody); his grandchildren, Dustin Bivens (Ali), Allison Kirkman and Riley Hopkins; his sister Shirley Hackett; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Shoffner Kirkman, Barry Shoffner (Debbie) and Steve Frazier.
