With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Josephine Weatherly of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thelma Josephine Weatherly to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, JC McClintock and Lora Bell McClintock; and her siblings, Martha McClintock of Virginia, Foy and Roy McClintock.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Weatherly (JoAnn), Daniel Weatherly (Fayia), Sharon Weatherly (John), Sandy Fulp (Chuck), Sammie Ainsley (JJ) and Pat Weatherly (Ron); her grandchildren, Mary Weatherly (Andy Watkins), Kate Cooley (Chris) and Keith Weatherly; her great grandchild Aiden Cooley; and her nieces and nephews, Glenna McClintock Staley, Diane McClintock, Lynn McClintock Flinchum, Janet McClintock Toler, Robbie McClintock, Michael McClintock, Chuck Weatherly and Chipper Coltrane. She is also survived by her loving husband and six children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Due to Covid, the family has requested no visitors to the house and there will be a small private service for the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be given to Bethlehem United Methodist Church or to the Salvation Army of Asheboro.
