She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Jones; her sister Wanda Alverson; and her parents, Jack Zimmerman and Dorothy Zimmerman. She is survived by: her brother Maynard Zimmerman (Dianna); her brother-in-law Dudley Alverson; her nieces and nephews, April Rumple (Ronnie), Kim Sudderth (George), Jessica Beville (Rodney), Justin Alverson (Liz) and Doug Zimmerman (Stefanie); her close friend Tommy Lewis; and her pet Mandy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Guilford Memorial Park (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407).
