We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2020, at the age of 91, Ruby Sparks (Pleasant Garden, North Carolina), born in Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Copple and Effie Copple (Walker); her son Gary Thornburg; and her siblings, Virginia Copple, Annie Ruth Copple, Hazel Goodman, Edith Oakes and Willis Copple.

She is survived by: her brother Arthur Copple (Betty) of Staley, NC; her siblings-in-law, E. C. Thornburg (Inez) of Whitsett, Homer Thornburg (late Brenda) of Denton, Joyce Isley (Floyd) of Randleman and Jerry Thornburg (Toni) of Pleasant Garden; her daughter-in-law Evelyn Thornburg of Pleasant Garden; her close friend Swanson Lawson; and also Caring Hands of Guilford County. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren.
