He was predeceased by: his mother Peggy Crymes Teachey; and his wife Laura Galloway Teachey. He is survived by: his father Ronald D. Teachey; his brother Ronald D. Teachey, Jr.; his wife Pam; his sister Dell Riggins (John); and his nieces and nephews, Jordan, Carson, Faryn, Cassidy, Chase, Jenna, Austin and Cole.

He was always on hand to help his family, especially his mother when she was suffering from Alzheimer's, and his dad with yardwork and wood cutting.
