She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Martha Shaw; her husband Charles "Chip" Edwin Hough Jr.; her father Richard Shaw; her son Chad Hough (Leilani); and her siblings, Chuck Shaw, Greg Shaw, Kirk Shaw and Janet Batts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Linda's name to the Davidson County Animal Shelter, 490 Glendale Rd #5828, Lexington, NC 27292.
