It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katharine Teachey of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Sarah Kate Cozart Caviness. She is survived by: her father William Edward Caviness; her siblings, Gus Caviness, W. Hal Caviness, Ruby Wilson, Wade Caviness, Myrtle Avrette, Mary Blanch Moore Carr and T. Jeff Caviness; her son-in-law Cecil Williams; her husband Elmo W. Teachey; her children, Elmo W. Teachey, Jr. (Betty), Sarah Williams, Carolyn Hurley (Byron) and Gail Ezell (David); her grandchildren, Annette Williams, Dwight Williams, Mary Scott (Mike), Crystal Weeks (Mike), Brian Ezell (Stacey) and Corey Ezell (Julia); her sister-in-law Kathaleen Caldwell; and her pets, Arby and Thomas. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
