We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Jerry Lee Thornburg of Pleasant Garden, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Columbus Thornburg and Ruby Leona Copple Sparks; his brothers, E. C. Thornburg, Homer Ray Thornburg and Gary Thornburg; and his siblings-in-law, Brenda Thornburg and Wayne Jones "Captain".

He is survived by: his wife Toni LaPrade Thornburg; his daughter Tanya A. Smith of Randleman; his son-in-law Paul Smith of Randleman; his son David Thornburg (Pam) of Pleasant Garden; his sister Joyce Isley (Floyd); his sisters-in-law, Wanda Jones, Inez Thornburg and Evelyn "Cookie" Thornburg; his grandchildren, Kirstin Smith-Oxendine (Victor), Lindsey Thornburg, Dalen Smith and Makinley Smith; and his great grandchild Rhett Grayson Oxendine. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with many friends and extended family; and his beloved four-legged baby.

“I just wanted to say how deeply saddened I was to hear about Jerry passing. I have so many fond memories of when you lived at the Beach and we all went out to eat or just hung out, Jerry, Toni, Craig and I. When we got together we always had a good time. If I needed help with anything Jerry was always there. He will be greatly missed. I am feeling your pain and sorrow at this difficult time. You have my sincere sympathy. Debbie Melton”
