He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Lingerfelt and Hattie Crosby Lingerfelt; and his siblings, Earl Crosby Lingerfelt and Carol Jones Lingerfelt. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lingerfelt of High Point; his daughter Mary Anna Lingerfelt of Pleasant Garden, NC; his granddaughter Emily Gregg; and his great grandchild Ryanne Gwaltney (Tallahassee). He is also survived by his two nieces and two nephews.
