He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Earl Fields and Fronie Lineberry; and his siblings, Florence Welborn and Raeford Fields. He is survived by: his wife Faye Smith Fields; his children, Julie Spencer (Denny) of Pleasant Garden and Tim Fields (Jana) of Pleasant Garden; his granddaughters, Layne Downing (Brian), Kylie Spencer, Ally Shuford (Dustin) and Leah Fields; his great grandchildren, Maysa and Madigan Downing; his brother Kelly Fields (Betty); and his sister-in-law Carol Fields. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
