He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Eloise Shives; and his parents, Millard Shives and Marguerite Peck. He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Shives (Deborah) and Phillip Shives; his grandchildren, Daniel Shives, Donald Shives (Ashli), Melissa Sawyer (Scott) and Rebecca Shives; his great grandchildren, Allison Gamble, Madison Shives, Meaghen Shives, Andrew Sawyer and Austin Sawyer; and his siblings, Elaine Steiner, Dolly Trumpower, Millard Lee Shives (Betty) and Kenny Shives (Jan).
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Grays Chapel UMC, Trustees's Committee.
