He is survived by: his wife Rickie; his children, Allen (Patience Absher) of Colfax and Kellie (Eric Walls) of Winston-Salem; his grandsons, Caleb and Seth Absher; and his siblings, Daniel Lee Absher (Shirley), Edith Gruer (Ed), Lyla Osborne (Estel), Freida Willien, Jaqueline Osborne (Alvin), Linda Hester (Junior) and Juanita Shepard.
