He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Teena Reece and Cynthia Ellis; and his sister Linda Campbell. He is survived by: his son-in-law Darrell Reece; and his granddaughters, Jennifer Smith, Jessica Yakout (Mohamed) and Allyson Pierce. He is also survived by four great grandsons and three great granddaughters.
