With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilbur Lee Moore of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar L. Moore and Fannie Johnson Moore; and his pet Sheba. He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Ray Moore of Pittsboro, NC; his stepsons, Richard Norris (Brian Schmock) of Silk Hope, NC and Jay Norris (Ann) of Silk Hope, NC; and his stepgrandchildren, Kayla Norris, Justin Norris, Daniel Norris and James Norris.
They ate breakfast every Thursday with some of those friends until the pandemic hit.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice in Wilbur's memory.
