He is survived by: his wife Lana Waters Liu; his children, Nick Liu and Tana Liu-Beers; his children-in-law, Nelly Lopez and Chris Liu-Beers; and his grandchildren, Miriam Liu-Beers, Indy Liu-Lopez and Leo Liu-Lopez.
