It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Knight (Pittsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 30, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cortis Knight and Annie Viola Malone Miles; his son James "Jimmy" Knight; his brother James Halford Knight; and his grandson James Matthew Knight.

He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Knight O'Hara (Richard) of Pittsboro; his grandchildren, Camen O'Hara, Micaiah Smith (Michael), Creah O'Hara and Joseph Knight; his daughter-in-law Mary H. Knight of Sanford; and his sister Elizabeth Knight Wilson.
