It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Elvin Hinton Sr. of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Hinton and Ruth Rogers Hinton; and his siblings, Sharon Sardina, Jean Andrews and Henry Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Missy Hinton of Pittsboro; his sons, TJ Hinton of Clayton and Chris Hinton of Raleigh; his stepchildren, Nate Kennedy of Hillsborough and Kayla Kennedy of Angier; and his grandchildren, Elijah Hinton, Hailey Strickland, Abby Strickland, Waylon Strickland, Wyatt Strickland and Ashton Kennedy.
