With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Anderson Jones of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Jones and Thelma Williams Jones; and his siblings, Clarence Jones, Clyde Jones, Raymond Jones, Bill Jones, Eddie Jones and Marie Zedaker.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice Durham Jones of Pittsboro, NC; his children, Randy Jones (Angela) of Sneads Ferry, NC, Rusty Jones (Tina) of Pittsboro, NC, Ray Hackney of South Carolina and Mona Hackney Thomas (Wesley) of Sanford, NC; and his sister Nancy Dodd (Robert) of Raleigh, NC.. He is also survived by four grandsons, four granddaughters, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
