He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Clegg and Flossie Beard Clegg; and his siblings, Bud, Henry, Hoyt, William, Horace and Mary Margaret Griffin.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert "Bobby" Lynn Clegg, Jr. of Pittsboro and Mark Clegg (Tracy) of Pittsboro; his grandchildren, Jessica, Amber (Rob), Allison, Heather (Anthony) and Shannon; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Harper, Keira, Jamiah, Austin, Bryson, Jaythen, Zakiya and Desiah. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and several long-time friends.
