It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Taber of Pittsboro, North Carolina, born in Oneonta, New York, who passed away on September 18, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph S. Taber and Carroll Burt Taber; his wife Virginia MacCracken (Ginny); his sons, Richard B. Taber, Jr. (Susan) and Jeffrey Scott Taber (Kayley Hattler Taber) of Pittsboro; his granddaughters, Danielle Taber Culham and Caitlin Taber Surber; and his son David Salton Taber. He was also cherished by three great grandchildren.
