We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2023, at the age of 78, Richard Allen Stewart of Pittsboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Hillsinger Stewart of Pittsboro, NC; his children, Michael Stewart of Orange County, Anthony Stewart (Nancy) of Orange County and Lisa Marie Scott (James) of Moore County, NC.; his grandchildren, Austin Scarboro (Anna), Brittany Combs (Zach), Brianna Stewart, Bryson Scarboro, Hunter Stewart, Cameron Scarboro and Dawson Scarboro; his great grandchildren, Memphis Scarboro and Georgia Scarboro; and his siblings, Lynwood Stewart (Cheryl) of Pennsylvania, Sylvia Arnold of Virginia, Cheryl Walker of Virginia, Glenna Cullen of Pennsylvania and Gail Gold (Harold) of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
