With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Knowles of Pittsboro, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Arnold Brandon and Lois Irene McDuffie Brandon; and her sister Martha. She is survived by: her husband Donald Knowles; her children, Sarah (Jason) and Jamie (Molly); her grandchildren, Audrey of Chapel Hill, Alice of Chapel Hill, Ruth of Chapel Hill and Jack of Chapel Hill; her siblings, Buddy Brandon of Red Springs, NC and Bonnie Keaton (Billy) of Charlotte; her siblings-in-law, Michael and Marilyn Knowles; her friend Steve Salmony; and also, Becky and Donald.
