She was predeceased by: her spouse James Kirk Dixon; her parents, Charles Lee and Bertie Mae Baker Anderson; and her sons, James K. Dixon, Jr. and Roy Gwyn Dixon.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Joyce Dixon of Pittsboro; and her brother-in-law Hurley Dixon (Virginia) of Burlington. She is also survived by son and nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
