Nicholas Paul Szydlek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2022, at the age of 77, Nicholas Paul Szydlek of Pittsboro, North Carolina, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara J. Eshelman Szydlek-Lawless and Edwin Joseph Rivers; his stepmother Frances Rivers; and his brothers, Lawrence S. Szydlek and Phillip P. Szydlek.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his son Nicholas, Jr. (Melissa); and his siblings, Eddie Szydlek (Cynthia), Carol Zirotti (Fred) and Cherilyn Smith (Don). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
As a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church he attended mass every Sunday until Covid-19 and his illness made that difficult for him.
