“Dr. Huneycutt was my favorite and most challenging English professor while I was an undergrad at Pfeiffer University, then College, from 1967 to 1970. She had high standards and expected all of her students to live up to those. I became a college- level English professor myself partly due to her extraordinary example and dedicated my Ph.D. dissertation to her in gratitude for all that she taught me. There are so many of us, her students, who hold her in high esteem and love her.”
