It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Cotner of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Numa Perry and Lina Brasington Perry; her husband Earl Cotner; and her sisters, Mary Perry and Mozzell Eubanks.

She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Wallace (Kimble) of Pittsboro and Steve Cotner of Pittsboro; her grandsons, Brandon Wallace (Krystal Sanders) of Pittsboro and Brentson Wallace of Pittsboro; and her great grandchildren, Logan Morgan, Aubree Wallace and Braelynn Wallace.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Maxine's memory to Bynum UMC 774 Bynum Church Road Pittsboro, NC 27312.
