With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Margaret Clegg Griffin of Pittsboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clegg and Flossie Beard Clegg; her husband Burnice Griffin; her brothers, Bud, Henry, Hoyt, William and Horace; and her sons-in-law, Joe Jackson and Charles Hinton.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Jean Hinton of Pittsboro, Sylvia Jackson of Pittsboro and Burnice Griffin, Jr.; her brother Lynn Clegg (Rose) of Pittsboro; her grandchildren, April (Darrell Elliott), Blake (Amanda), Clay (Lisa) and Renee (Rodney Wilder); her great grandchildren, Connor, Lexi, Everly, Charlie, Katie, Reice and Ryan; and her great great grandchild Ryleigh.
