She was predeceased by: her parents, L. M. Petty and Jessie Perry Petty; her husband J. A. Farrell, Jr.; her siblings, L. M. "Buck" Petty, G. T. Petty, Adele Petty Brooks and Gwen Petty James; and her granddaughter Kelly Suzanne Nance.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Lindley Nance of Richmond, Virginia and Vicky Lindley Brady of McLeansville; her stepson J. A. "Jay" Farrell III (Charlene); her sister Patricia Petty Andrews; and her grandchildren, Kris Nance Griffin, Todd Berkeley, Christy Farrell Blackburn, Blake Farrell, Ronnie Brady and Lisa Brady Cockman.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made in Lib's memory to Heartland Hospice 4505 Falls of Neuse Road, Suite 650 Raleigh, NC 27609.
