She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Seymour and Bessie Thrailkill Seymour; and her siblings, Louise Howard, Gladys Truelove, Russell Seymour, Lawrence Seymour, Milton Seymour and Lula Mae Bryant.
She is survived by: her husband James; her daughters, Betty Sue Griffin (Gene) and Jo Ann Thomas (Eddie); and her grandchildren, Keith Griffin (Kim), Karen Horne (Marty), Ben Thomas (Angela) and Aaron Thomas (Brittany). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Hanks Chapel (125 Hanks Loop Rd, Pittsboro, NC 27312). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hanks Chapel Christian Church (125 Hanks Loop Rd, Pittsboro, NC 27312).
