With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mae Brown (Pittsboro, North Carolina), born in Barrington, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 26, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Trew Dickson and Margaret McClelland Dickson; her siblings, Joseph Dickson, John Dickson and Anna Grace Dickson; and her husband John Willis Brown.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Dickson Dewhurst; her nieces, Sharon Ann Cumming, Susan Brown Rubin and Carolyn Diane Talley; and her nephew John Dickson Brown. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Because of the coronavirus, attendance for this service is restricted to immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Mae 's home for the past ten years, Pittsboro Christian Village, 1825 East Street, Pittsboro NC, 27312.
